Peter Max | American artist born in St. Paul, Minnesota, on October 19, 1937. He is a pop culture icon and one of the most famous Pop Art artist of all times. Peter Max's artistic journey began in his early teens, inspired by the works of Abstract Expressionists like Jackson Pollock and Mark Rothko. His early work reflect this influence, with bold, gestural brushstrokes and a focus on color and texture.
